It is strongly encouraged that you pick your packet up on Thursday or Friday to save on time and help minimize big lines the morning of race day. Same day packet pick up will be available at the race venue starting at 7:15 am.


Enter to win T3 Goodie Bag if you pick up your packet in the shop prior to race day.
All registered participants will receive an extra 25% off one item of choice at T3 Triathlon during race week. (Not including bikes)

Gear and Prizes

Participants will receive a high quality race shirt; finisher will be given a medal specific to their race distance. Plaques will be given to the overall male and female winners in each distance as well as the top age group winners. Keeping with tradition we will have our famous Marc’s Finish line Chili waiting for all of our runners with rolls and butter.

Volunteers

We would like to thank the Pleasant Grove Fire Department and Telos Residential for their continued support of the Timp Trail Marathon & Half Marathon and Timp Trail 50k Elk Run. These two groups will provide the bulk of our volunteers. However, we are looking for more. If you or your group would like to volunteer please contact shaun@t3triathlon.com

Race Withdrawl/Refund Policy

Entry fees are non-refundable. Transfers or deferments are NOT permitted. Race directors reserve the right to change or modify the race for safety and weather related issues.

Half Marathon

Half Marathon Course Description

This is a challenging Half Marathon course. There is 2,389 feet of elevation gain on the Half Marathon course. The course is made up of mountain trail and fire break roads. Starting at Timpanogos Park trail head, the course continues east on the Middle Aqueduct Road and connects to the Great Western Trail that runs through Johnson’s Bowl connecting to the Upper Aqueduct Road, the course runs west on the Upper Aqueduct Road to the shooting range connecting to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, runs Bonneville Shoreline Trail to Dry Creek Canyon Trail Head. The course follows this trail for .75 mile until it connects with Trail 051 run Trail 051 to the Rock Pile, connecting back to Trail #49, to and across the Upper Aqueduct Road, running the Bike Race Trails direct to the finish line at Timpanogos Park. Course is subject to change if needed.

Half Marathon Aid Stations

There will be 2 aid stations supporting the Trail ½ Marathon. It is HIGHLY recommended that you carry some type of water i.e. hydration pack, hand held, or fanny pack.
Start to Finish – The aid stations and the accompanying restroom facilities:
• Aid Station #1 Mile 6 – Gun Range (w/restrooms)
• Dry Canyon parking lot – mile 8 (restrooms only)
• Aid Station #2 Mile 8.4 – Dry Canyon

Aid stations will be stocked with the following:
Water, electrolyte drink, electrolyte tablets, gummy bears, pretzels, peanut butter quarter sandwiches, fruit, and a mix of other goodies.

10k

10K Course Description

Starting at Timpanogos Park trail head, the course continues east on the Middle Aqueduct Road and connects at the Great Western Trail to the Upper Aqueduct Road, the course runs west on the Upper Aqueduct Road. At mile 5.5 you will drop onto the cliff line trail and down to the finish. The finishline can be seen from here.
NOTE:
The Half Marathoners will continue on the Upper Aqueduct Road; Only the 10k runners will drop down to the finish at mile 5.5. The Half Marathoners will drop down the cliff line trail at mile 12.

10K Aid Stations

There will only be 1 aid station at mile 4.5
Aid Station #1- Mile 4.5 GW Trailhead Upper Aqueduct Road elevation 5577

Aid stations will be stocked with the following:
Water, electrolyte drink, electrolyte tablets, gummy bears, pretzels, peanut butter quarter sandwiches, bananas, grapes, and a mix of other goodies.

10K Profile

Marathon runners must be out of the Grove Creek aid station(11.5 miles) by 10am (4 hours) or you will be pulled from the course.
